Staying motivated can be hard in a world where there are limitless distractions. Between social media, Netflix, and playing with your cat, it's easy to let the days fly by without getting anything done. But if you want to succeed in 2022 - or any year for that matter - it’s great to learn what tools can help you stay motivated.
In this article, we'll share some of our favourite ways the CACHIA stays motivated to keep on track of our 2022 goals.
Utilise a diary
One of the best ways to stay motivated is to have a diary. Journaling can help you to release your emotions, organise your thoughts, and plan for the future. It helps you focus on where you are now, where you want to go next, and what steps need to be taken in order to make it happen. Something as simple as writing your goals down is proven to help you visualise them being achieved. The CACHIA team LIVE by diaries, it helps us keep tabs on everything we need to fulfil that week and allows us more time to focus on the fun stuff.
As we all know, there's a lot of research that suggests that habits and routines improve our health and happiness. That said, it's important to find the right habits to make your life better.
The key is making sure you're doing things that are both good for your body and good for your mind.
One way to do this is by getting enough sleep (even if you don't feel like it). As we know, sleep is important because it helps us recharge our body and mind. Sleeping also helps us reduce stress and anxiety. Your thoughts will be clearer and you'll feel more energised when you wake up in the morning. Plus there’s nothing like a good sleep to move past the inconveniences of the day.
Another healthy habit is drinking plenty of water throughout the day. We all know that drinking water is important for survival, but it also has a ton of other benefits! You can increase your energy levels by drinking more water, it’s also great for digestion, prevents kidney damage, delivers oxygen around the body and helps flush out toxins. And finally, water keeps our skin looking radiant so you'll have more confidence in yourself!
One of the best ways to stay motivated is by creating vision boards. If you're not familiar, these are made by collecting images that represent your goals and dreams.
These boards serve as a visual inspiration to keep you focused on your goals and to push through obstacles. They also help bring your ideas to life by moving from thoughts in your mind to a tangible board. You can also print out articles or put up motivational quotes on the wall to help remind you what you're working for. Make sure you have it hanging up in your office or somewhere you will see it everyday.
Stay Focused & Goal-oriented
It's important to stay focused on what you want to do. It's easy to get distracted by the other things in your life, but if you want to live a healthy and happy life - you need to stay focused.
You should also break down your goals into smaller manageable steps so it's easier for you to stay goal-oriented. For example, if your goal is to run a marathon next year, break it down into monthly or weekly goals so that it's easier to prepare for. You can then work on those monthly goals throughout the course of the year until they become weekly or daily habits. This will ease the stress off the big tasks and make it more manageable.
Find Time For Yourself
Finding time for yourself is a very important way to stay motivated. Whether it's going to the spa, watching a movie, or going for a walk on the beach, you need to make time for yourself. You can't be your best self if you don't take care of yourself first. When you're refreshed and rejuvenated from taking some time for yourself, you'll have more energy and motivation to work hard. It’s great to dedicate a day out each week to keep free for yourself, we recommend Sunday’s.
We hope this list of Surefire Ways to Stay Motivated in 2022 helps to give you the tools you need to get the most out of this year and to continue your journey towards success.
