Behind the Scenes of Our Gigi Summer Campaign Shoot

On Tuesday the 20^th August, we hosted our Summer Gigi Campaign Shoot at a beautiful Airbnb in St Kilda, Melbourne. Despite the typical Melbourne Monsoon weather outside, the sun was shining inside, and the Summertime vibes were flowing!

 

Our concept for this Campaign was a Summer Slumber Party with your besties! Think tropical fruits, a High Tea spread and some downtime reading your favourite books together after a day in the sun.

 

We arrived on location at 9am, ready for a big day of shooting! Our gorgeous models, Sophie, Annie and Jordyn, wasted no time getting glammed up by our talented makeup artist, Clara Campbell. Meanwhile the team busied themselves setting up camera equipment and prepping the first room location – oh, and of course grabbing everyone a much-needed coffee!

 

First up was the bedroom scene, and pretty in pink was the theme! We captured not only some great photos and UGC videos, but also filmed fun ‘This or That’ reels and questioned the girls about their nighttime routines!

 

By 11am we were ready for morning tea. While our models finished shooting in the bedroom, half of the team went downstairs to prep our beautiful High Tea scene for the next shot!

 

Scones, sandwiches, flowers and friends. What more could you ask for?! After a quick outfit change into the Peach Gigi Nightie, we were ready to capture the Dining Room scene.

 

Next up was the Lounge Room. The girls changed into the OG Gigi Print and snuggled up on the couch. We filmed some more This or That questions, and this time asked about their morning routines.

 

By 1pm we were ready for lunch, and our delicious catering from Urban Foodies did not disappoint! After a quick bite and of course a little boogie to the Natasha Bedingfield music we had playing, the team set up the next scene to be captured!

 

The Kitchen was up next, and the girls were making juice. After all, nothing says summer like freshly squeezed orange juice!

 

At 3pm we filmed Ad Content with Sophie, while Annie and Jordyn filmed some fun TikTok’s. We spent the rest of the afternoon making the most of the beautiful spaces in our Airbnb for our content.

 

When 4:30pm rolled around we began to pack down and tidy up the space. At 5pm we said goodbye to our models and packed our cars with all the photo shoot props and, of course, the exciting new Summer Gigi Range!

As the sun began to set, we quickly ran up to the balcony to capture one last photo of our stunning city skyline before heading home.
