MOTHER'S DAY BRUNCH WITH CACHIA
We are so excited to share these images from our first ever CACHIA event. If you didn't follow the day via our instagram account (@cachia__), then you might not have seen what went down!
With the help of the lovely Lauren from @thevibetribegroup, CACHIA put together a morning full of relaxation for some amazing Melbourne mum’s and girl bosses. We dressed them all up in the Mother's Day collection, because what better way to relax than in your PJs of course.
The aim of the morning was to allow these busy mums to reconnect with themselves, and what better way to do that than a light meditation/ yoga session run by @emmamaidment_, followed by a sit-down brunch (avo toast- yes please!)
During the meditation session, Emma took us through a 6 scan breathing technique. Did you know that a simple meditation with a focus on your breathing can help relive stress and anxiety? It can also help foster present moment awareness.
A quick and simple meditation can be done at home, at your desk, or wherever you just need a moment to stop and relax.
We wanted this event to remind mums that even though life may get busy, you should always take time out of your day, even for 5 minutes, to pause and take care of yourself.
We found this quote online from Michelle Obama, and thought that it reflected our values of the day perfectly:
