Last month, on the 6th of June, Cachia marked 8 years of sleepwear magic. And in true Cachia style, we of course designed a special, limited edition collection to celebrate! Come behind the scenes and see how we captured our 8th Birthday Collection.
8:30am: First stop of the day was to Burnt Butter to pick up our 8th Birthday cake & balloons. Then it was off to the studio!
9:00am: We arrived at studio. This year we shot our 8th Birthday collection at the gorgeous new Rozay Studio Melbourne.
The Dream Team
Our models for the day included Kushi, Sadie, Sophie, Esme, Grace & Greyson. (not to forget Joey, Sophie's little dachshund who was of course the star of the show!)
Our wonderful Hair and Makeup artists for the day was Louise & Nicole. And as always, our fantastic photographer for the day was Fiona Storey
9:15am: Kushi & Sadie went straight into hair & make up while Fiona set up her lighting and camera equipment. The Cachia team finalised prepping the garments and took some BTS footage!
10:00am: Sophie and Esme arrived. Once we all finished gushing over gorgeous Esme and just how much she had grown, we began shooting the lifestyle imagery with Kushi & Sadie in the upstairs content space.
While we were shooting up stairs, Sophie jumped into hair & make up and the marketing team captured flatlay photos/ videos of the new styles, and more BTS shots (you can never have too much footage right?!)
12:00pm: By midday, Leah had arrived with Grace, and our male model Greyson was on set ready to shoot. It was time to capture our Roaring Dreams Campaign!
12:45pm: After a very busy morning, it was time to refuel with our delicious catered lunch from Urban Foodies.
1:30pm: After lunch (and of course a coffee run) the team shot TikTok and UGC content, while Fiona shot ECOM imagery downstairs with Sophie, Greyson and Grace.
3:00pm: We said fair-well to Sophie, Esme, Leah, Grace and Greyson. Then it was time to shoot the campaign imagery for the last 3 styles in the Birthday Range; Celebration Slumber, Vino Vibes and Plum sets.
4:45pm: With the day coming to an end, it was time to pack up and reset the studio back to the way we found it.
5:00pm: Home time!
