Let’s Talk About Poop (Pyjamas): Why We’re Breaking the Bathroom Taboo in Style

Let’s be honest, parenting isn’t all lullabies and soft-focus Instagram moments. It’s chaos. It’s crumbs in your bra. It’s cold coffee and sleepless nights and more often than not, it’s poop. A lot of it.

That’s why we’ve teamed up with the king of keeping-it-real, Sean Szeps, to create a cheeky new sleepwear collab that celebrates one of the most unfiltered realities of family life.

Introducing our limited-edition Bumbo Collection: matching unisex adults, kids and baby pyjamas that poke fun at the stinky reality every parent experiences!

Sean has made a name for himself by shining a light on the real, raw and often hilarious side of parenthood. Through comedy and candour, he’s opened up important conversations about everything from dad guilt to digestive disasters. His content is smart, self-deprecating and refreshingly honest. Because let’s face it, the parenting journey is messy. And that mess deserves to be laughed at, not hidden.

When Sean told us his idea for a family PJ set that was unapologetically cheeky (and a little bit stinky), we couldn’t say no, parenting is full of gross moments. These pjs let families laugh with the mess instead of crying over it (most of the time). A bit of humour can go a long way when you're elbow-deep in nappies. We believe in sleepwear that sparks joy, encourages connection and reflects the full picture of life at home. Sometimes, that picture includes a toddler screaming “I DID A POO!” at 3am.

Despite being one of the most natural parts of life, poop is still treated like a secret. From a young age, we’re taught to keep bathroom talk private, which often leads to shame or embarrassment, especially in parenting, where mess is part of the daily routine. But by laughing about it and talking openly, we help break the taboo and remind each other that nothing about being human or raising kids is too gross to be shared.

Kids ask a lot of questions, especially about their bodies. Wearing pyjamas that have poop on them (in print, not reality!) helps normalise chats around toileting, body functions and hygiene without shame or awkwardness. By turning something that’s usually swept under the rug into a moment of shared humour, this collab aims to break the bathroom taboo and normalise the very normal parts of parenting. Whether you're in the thick of toilet training or just surviving on three hours of sleep, these PJs are for the parents who are doing their best, laughing through the chaos, and not afraid to embrace the 💩.

So go ahead match with your mini, pour the coffee, and proudly wear your parenting badge (in poop-print). Because in the Szeps household and now in yours, what happens in the bathroom doesn’t stay in the bathroom. It ends up on your pyjamas!
